Home building and politics
Everyone talks about how difficult a home building project is for a married couple. I just wanted to post this photo to show that we have it even worse. If this picture is any indication, do you think we'll have trouble picking out finishes?
Notice how Obama is further to the left and slightly behind McCain...
A start-to-finish story on our new house in Hartland, Wisconsin, a small town in Waukesha County, about twenty miles west of Milwaukee. We decided to do the contracting ourselves, and as much of the work as we could manage (and afford). We couldn't find a lot of information on owner-built homes in the Milwaukee area, so we decided to cover our own experiences. This is our first time doing the owner-builder thing. And no, we didn't intentionally choose to start this process in the middle of the most troubled economy since the Great Depression.
Clearly someone has not been reading the polls...
ReplyDelete"further to the left and slightly behind" One is a fact, the other a prediction.
